Sažetak
Passerini reaction was utlized for the instalation of C-glycosydic bond in good to excellent diastereoseletivities. Passerini products were convereted to optically pure C-glycosyl amino acids or homo and heterochiral dipeptides. Dipeptides will be used in the synthesis of homo- and heterochiral and homo-and heterovalent oligomers to understand how structure of incorporated C-glycosyl amino acids, their number and distribution within the oligomer determine the conformation of the oligomer, and the formation of higher-ordered structures. In addition, C-glycosyl amino acids will be utilized in the solid-phase synthesis of peptidomimetics.
