Sažetak
This paper presented and explained consociational elements of the EU’s political system and politics. It also discussed the emergence of consociational arrangements and practices in the European Union. Although the EU cannot be qualified as a consociational polity, the consociational logic is inherent in the EU's political system and politics and expresses the profound anti-hegemonic and counter-majoritarian nature of the European Union.
