Sažetak
In the chapter is discussed process of migrations from Eastern Adriatic coast to Venice from the Late Middle Ages to the end of the 18th century. Subject of research is home origin of Croatian immigrants in Venice, their professions, places of residence and their connection to the ecclesiastical institutions in Venice, particularly with the Confraternity of SS. George and Tryphon. The chapter is aimed at contextualisation of the framework in which worked and operated Croatian 17th-century composer Ivan Lukačić.
