Sažetak
First year university students are given a chance to work on new types of problems during recitations rather than just traditional types of problems. By traditional types of problems, I mean problems that mostly promote searching for the right equation whereas new types of problems are those that promote creativity (for example Jeopardy problems and Multiple possibility problems), argumentative skills (for example Choose answer and explanation) as well as problems that require from students to evaluate and reflect on other people's statements. All skills and competences that new types of problems promote are what today’s students need if they want to thrive in the future. In my presentation, I would like to introduce you to some of those new types of problems.
