Sažetak
During 2021 a small-scale early medieval iron processing workshop was unearthed at the base of the Draganovec - Piretis site, located on the outskirts of the town of Koprivnica, NW Croatia. Even though the remains of the workspace, furnaces and acompaning finds of slag and nozzles are quite scarce it is still possible to carry out a macroscopic analysis on the collected finds and analyse the plan of the workshop. The first part of the article is therefore dedicated to the interpretation of the collected finds and the plan of the site. Based on the two the authors discuss the processes conducted within the workshop and compare them to similar iron processing workshops investigated on the territory of the River Drava Basin and Central Europe.
