Sažetak
Artificial intelligence (AI) terminology is used when a device mimics human cognitive function. Deep learning (DL), a subset of machine learning (ML), using artificial neural networks has been applied to decode imaging data. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can be trained to analyse information stored in a radiologic image and can process, segment and classify the image. Studies on AI systems for COVID-19 detection on chest computer tomography (CT) images report promising results for the automated diagnosis of COVID-19 pneumonia using DL methods. The design of the current existing AI models can be improved by considering comorbidity as an independent factor. Several algorithms show feasibility for further testing and meet expectations for practical clinical use. The advancement and development of AI approach will aid physicians in disease management and treatment
