Sažetak
This paper describes the method of allocation heat energy costs in the Republic of Croatia and achieved savings by implementing the Energy Efficiency Directive. More specifically, heat energy consumption was analyzed before and after installation of heat cost allocators. As the Republic of Croatia borders with non-EU countries and people with similar mentalities or similar behavior, this paper may point to the advantages and disadvantages in implementation of the Energy Efficiency Directive in the Republic of Croatia and serve as an example for neighboring countries when implementing mentioned directive.
