Sažetak
On our limited patient series, we found that emergency specialists with no formal ultrasound training had sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 93% and accuracy of 95% for deep vein thrombosis using compression ultrasound in three locations. Data from our patient series suggest that emergency medicine specialists can use emergency lower extremity ultrasound with great certainty in the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis.
