Sažetak
The aim of this work was to portray the features of Montessori pedagogy and examine the parents' satisfaction with the stated pedagogy's implementation in preschool institutions their children attend. The work delineates characteristics of Montessori pedagogy and its influence on the overall child development. Furthermore, the emphasis is put on the importance of applying materials and didactical means that are specifically designed to secure quality and integrative children's development. The goal was to examine the overall satisfaction of parents (N=81) with the concept of Montessori pedagogy in preschool institutions, to ascertain the existence of differences with regard to their education degree and compare their perceptions according to age. The values of Bootstrap One Sample test for the overall satisfaction show statistical significance (p= , 001), which yields the conclusion that parents are satisfied with the implementation of the said concept in the education groups of their children. The differences in parents' perception with regard to education degree are tested with the use of Jonckheere Terpstra test and are not confirmed, while the connection between the parents' perception and their age was examined with the use of Spearman's correlation coefficient, which also found no statistical significance.
