Sažetak
Dilatometry is a method of measuring changes in the volume, length, width or thickness of a material sample over time, caused by temperature changes. By dilatometric testing of the material, it is possible to determine the dilatation behaviour of the material during heating and during cooling. The device used to carry out dilatometric tests is called a dilatometer. By dilatometric testing of metals, it is possible to determine the coefficient of linear thermal expansion (dilation) and the characteristic temperatures of microstructural transformations during heating and during cooling. In the experimental part of the work dilatometer tests were carried out on maraging steel X1NiCoMo15-10-5, a tool steel 90MnCrV8 and steel for quenching and tempering 43CrMo4. Dilatograms of austenitization of these steels were recorded and the phase transformation temperatures A1 and A3 were read. Based on the read dilatations, the coefficients of linear thermal expansion were calculated for all three steels.
