Sažetak
Mobility in culture is progressively becoming omnipresent topic in the cultural policy discourse, notably amidst and after the pandemic standstill emphasizing the relevance of transnational and cross-border movement and circulation in arts and culture. The role of hosts is an indispensable variable of the mobility equation, yet chronically under-researched segment of the mobility in culture. This paper addresses that particular role from multiple angles of analysis encompassing the exploration of hosts in the mobility cycle, interrelations between working conditions in arts and culture and mobility, the emergence of the care principle in the practices of mobility and the pertinence of intercultural competence and facilitation in the mobility processes that (can) contribute to the development of translocality.
