Sažetak
The analysis is performed on two selected samples of FR fabrics. The composition of the fabrics is: polyamide 6.6 ; FR viscose ; meta aramid and modacryl in combination with cotton. The samples were hand screen printed with vat dye printing pastes, containing two different dyestuff concentrations: 40g/Kg and 10g/Kg. In the methodology, in addition to defining the composition of fabric samples, their FR properties were examined before printing by measuring the LOI-Limiting Oxygen Index. The lightfastness and washfastness testing were performed after printing. The samples were analyzed by spectrophotometric measurements, before and after the fastness tests. The values of spectral characteristics (L*, a*, b*, C*, h°) were shown according to the CIE color measurement system as well as in K/S color strength values. The results showed that it is possible to achieve an optimal level of colouration in fabrics that contain a high proportion of aramid fibres, if a certain ratio of cellulose component is contained, with acceptable fastness properties.
