Sažetak
In the paper, the degree of protection against electromagnetic (EM) radiation of functional textiles with metal content at frequencies of 1.8 GHz and 2.1 GHz before and after 10 cycles of dry cleaning was investigated. In addition, the change in textile thickness after cyclic exposure to the chemical cleaning process was monitored and compared with the initial values. The results showed differences in the degree of protection of the analysed materials depending on the structural features. The results showed that the metalcoated functional fabric has the highest level of protection, but also the weakest resistance to the action of solvents in the dry cleaning process. This research indicates the importance of monitoring functional properties of different impacts, which in some cases completely disrupt the initial properties.
