Sažetak
A significant part of a history teacher's job is working with primary and secondary sources. The sources used in the school are mainly textual and image sources and, to a lesser extent, audio and video sources. By working on sources, students practice historical skills by collecting sources, analyzing them, and creating conclusions or historical narratives. For a long time, the direct access to resources for students was textbooks or materials that the teacher brought to class. Digitization of teaching and increasing use of the Internet opens up a plethora of available resources to students. In addition to the problem of choosing the appropriate source in abundance, there is a growing problem of distortion of historical narratives and falsification of sources. The paper proposes criteria for evaluating digital resources for history teachers and their students. The criteria must be applied so that history teaching does not perpetuate the transmission of fake information and false narratives in the educational system.
