Sažetak
Financial management provides answers to many questions related to the overall operation and functioning of the company. Here, of course, the focus is on the operation and financing of the company, represented by operational, investment and financial activities, as well as determining the necessary funds and resources for their implementation. The simultaneous connection of the mentioned activities in the function of making the right decision represents the basic condition and task of the financial manager. All this in the direction of achieving the ultimate goal, increasing the value of the company, i.e. increasing the wealth of the shareholders. In this sense, the financial management should respond to the optimal use, i.e. the use of funds, providing sources for their financing, ensuring the optimal cost of the capital employed, deciding on the distribution of profits, dividend policy, etc., with the aim of achieving the final goals.
