Sažetak
Despite numerous benefits of information and communication technology (ICT) in promoting economic growth and sustainable development of national economy, its significance is insufficiently researched, especially in the segment that quantifies contribution of ICT sectors to total economy and integration among ICT sectors. To emphasize the importance of the Croatian ICT sectors, in this paper model of sectors extraction is adapted to quantify the importance of ICT sectors in the open and closed input-output system in 2010 and 2020. The proposed model calculates contribution of ICT sectors in terms of gross value added and employment and monitors the interaction among ICT sectors related to cross-sectoral and intra-sectoral deliveries among ICT sectors. Results of the conducted analysis indicate that Croatian ICT manufacturing industries lag behind the ICT service industries. Relative integration measure differs for individual ICT sectors.
