Sažetak
Airborne television imaging in remote sensing and reconnaissance produces significant percent of images having limited value in use, especially those containing poorly visible artificial objects. A method which solves this problem is presented. It consists of (a) image restoration by means of coordinate transformation which transforms a set of spatially variant images obtained from the short-duration television sequence containing poorly visible artificial objects on the ground into a set of spatially invariant images followed by either (b) Karhunen-Loeve processing or (c) unsupervised classification, or the combination of (b) and (c). The method is illustrated on a case of artificial objects on the ground where detection, classification and recognition is difficult due to the variety of objects present in the surroundings.
