Sažetak
Monitoring ion transport in sloped soils is of great importance as it can be affected by the slope. SUPREHILL observatory was set up at sloped vineyard, with wick lysimeters installed at the top, middle, and the bottom of the hillslope. Leachates were collected from February 2021 - January 2022, and analyzed for pH, electrical conductivity (E.C.), and ionic composition (NO3-, NH4+, PO43-, SO42-, Cl-, K+, Cu2+, and DOC). The analysis of data variance was done using One-Way ANOVA (SAS Institute Inc., 2019-2020), with the significance of differences between the means determined using Tukey's HSD test at P<0.01. No significant difference was found for NH4+, PO43-, SO42-, and DOC concentrations in regard to the slope. However, significant difference was confirmed for leachate E.C., with the highest value recorded at the bottom of the slope (20.8 mS m-1), but without any difference between the top and the middle of the slope (16.6 and 15.9 mS m- 1). Also, NO3-, Cu2+, Cl-, and K+ leachate concentrations were significantly different in regard to the slope, with NO3- and Cu2+ showing the same trend as E.C., i.e., the highest concentrations were found at the bottom of the slope (14.99 mg NO3- L-1 and 9.2 mg Cu2+ L-1), and no difference was found between the top and the middle of the slope (2.87 and 4.6 mg NO3- L-1, and 6.2 and 5.5 mg Cu2+ L-1, respectively). Data suggest that sloping of the soil has a major influence on the distribution of certain ions in soil, especially on nitrates.
