Sažetak
Thermovision camera (FLIR) is often used as a very efficient sensor for the airborne remote sensing in the conditions of the poor optical visibility and during the night. Due to the distortions, resolution and contrast between the imaged object and its neighborhood are decreased. Keeping in mind the fact, that the FLIR imaging is not linear and spatially invariant, one could apply restoration methods under restrictions, based on the Modulation Transfer Function and result could be useful. For example of the Agema's FLIR THV-1000, restoration was applied based on MTF which was calculated from the given Minimum Resolvable Temperature Difference (MRT). The benefits of such an approach are promising and we suggest deeper research in the future.
