Sažetak
Presented is the historic development of Dubrava as a desirable migration destination in Zagreb. A dynamic population growth during the last hundred years is not the result of natural increase but the immigration of population. Intensive immigration resulted in heterogenous national population structure and insufficiently defined and uneven urban dynamics. A great discoordination between the function of work and housing has been established as well as distinctly stronger function of work than work as distinguished from Zagreb as a whole. Spatial differentiation of demographic, functional and physiognomic changes is the reflection of difference between main regions of Croatia and within Zagreb as well as the indicator of total socio-economic processes in the country.
