Sažetak
The contribution explores the characteristics and consequences of three instances of politicisation in Croatia that started during the finale of the Croatian EU accession negotiations and coincided with the aftermath of “The Great Recession” of 2008. The consequences of “The Great Recession” coupled with a conditionality-driven EU accession negotiations shattered the great post-war consensus about the desirability of a certain kind of democracy.
