Sažetak
The quality of life of satirists often depends on social and health care in specialized institutions for the care and nursing of the elderly. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the life of the elderly by creating a comfortable life that makes up a not negligible population group of society. Claims and attitudes can often be heard in the public that the quality of life in homes for the elderly and infirm is at an extremely low level of quality, which is why there is a need to conduct research on this. In accordance with previous work and practical experience, the aim of the research is to find satisfaction with the quality of life of service users in the Home for the elderly and the infirm, as well as satisfaction with social services and health care services. The research was conducted on a sample of 102 respondents using the services of the Home for the elderly and the infirm in Sibenik. The study was conducted in a survey in June 2020 for the duration of the corona virus pandemic. The research on the selected sample showed that satisfaction with the quality of life in the Home for the elderly and infirm is at a satisfactory level and that satisfaction with the quality of life is not significantly statistically related to the age of respondents, their education, degree of independence and mobility.
