Sažetak
This session focuses on various aspects of defining borders as well as how borders influenced economic, social, political and religious aspects of life in Slavonia in the High and Late Middle Ages. The first paper deals with defining of medieval estate borders, and how to detect them in contemporary landscape, while the second paper is more focused on phenomena of continuities and discontinuities of borders in the scope of micro- and macro-perspectives. In the final paper examines the influence of the life on the border on the members of higher social strata.
