Sažetak
Teaching methods have in recent years been adapted to life-long learning, so the aim of this paper is to explore the professional development of teachers through participation in online international projects as a new way of gaining important 21st century skills. This research has been conducted through a focus group of eight secondary school teachers who participated in online international projects. This qualitative method of research has been chosen as an extension of previous quantitative research about the topic and as a part of the futures studies methodology in education. This research could bring new insights in the field of didactics as the topic is important globally, since participation in online international projects could be implemented in school curricula across the world, as well as a way of professional teacher development in the future.
