Sažetak
This volume presents the results of a scientific colloquium which took place in Zagreb on May 29, 2018. Hosted by the University Department of Croatian Studies, the venue aimed at bringing together scholars from Croatia and Hungary dealing with various aspects of institutional history. In this way, University of Zagreb and University of Pécs confirmed their (traditionally) excellent bilateral cooperation, manifested in scientific activities, and faculty and student exchange programs. The papers are divided into three sections: I. Concepts and structures ; II. Representation ; and III. Authority and local organisation. In the first section, authors deal with the place of concepts of friendship, humility, and “otherness” within bigger structures, such as state, religious order or national narrative. In the second section, the papers give an insight into some aspects of relation between the Papal Curia and the Realm of St Stephen. Papers of the third section are case studies dealing with cooperation and tensions between Church, State and nobility in Zagreb bishopric in the period from late 14th to 17th century.
