Sažetak
Within the first phase of the project “e-Schools: Development of the System of Digitally Mature Schools” conducted in Croatia, e-Schools teaching scenarios (TS) were developed and tested to support contemporary teaching processes of subject courses in the primary and secondary level of education. This project is the largest of its kind in Europe. Its first phase lasted from 2015 to 2018 and was financed by the European Union. In the current second phase of the Project, which is conducted in all primary and secondary schools in Croatia and lasts from 2019 to 2023, the concept of TS was redefined to place more focus on the interdisciplinary topics which are defined as a part of the national curriculum in Croatia. While several other projects and researches develop and explore different types of teaching scenarios, we present the results of a four years work on development and fine-tuning of the TS concept in the e-Schools project. Further, in the paper we present qualitative analysis of seven focus groups which consisted of 42 primary and secondary school teachers. The results reflect on the concept of TS with an emphasis on its structure, keywords (relevant for finding a TS within the database), information and communication technology (ICT) competence level, description of ICT use, correlations and interdisciplinarity with other school subjects, and activities for students who want to learn more. Results show that TS are well accepted among teachers and that they are satisfied with its structure and content. Majority of teachers are able to properly apply TS without any additional instructions or education.
