Sažetak
Short ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia) is considered as a real pest becouse of its hazardous impact on public health. During it's pollination period (peak appears at the beginning of September) it represents a major treat to the allergic population. The highest contamination of ragweed pollen in the air come from the fields. Sistematic cutting, continuous care-taking of the environment and the nation-wide use of herbicides as a prevention from this noxious weed is necessary.
