Sažetak
The comprehensive curricular reform 'School for Life' brings many changes in the work of teachers and the implementation of all subjects, including Art Culture. This paper will present and analyze the changes in the curriculum of Art Culture within the 'School for Life' and discuss the main changes it brings. The starting point is the research question of whether and to what extent teachers are willing to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the ‘School for Life’. The main goal of this paper is to check the readiness of primary school teachers to implement and apply curricular changes in the subject of Art Culture in practice. A questionnaire was conducted among the respondents, the aim of which was to determine whether and to what extent teachers were professionally trained and prepared for the changes that were taking place, as well as a comparative analysis of their attitudes and knowledge of curricular changes. The results showed irregular professional development and preparation of teachers at all levels. Teachers' attitudes about the changes brought about by the 'School for Life' are quite negative, and it turned out that even the knowledge of curricular changes is not at a high level. It can be concluded that primary school teachers enter the 'School for Life' in the field of Fine Arts very unprepared and with an insufficient level of knowledge.
