Sažetak
Microencapsulation of bioactive substances has been developed in the last few years as a new potential tool for ecological and sustainable plant production. The advantages of microencapsulation are: slow release of the bioactive agent, more efficient use of chemicals, greater safety for users, and better environmental protection. Microcapsules based on biopolymers with encapsulated one bioactive agent are widely used in agriculture and have become one of the standard techniques. However, knowledge about the simultaneous encapsulation of biological and chemical agents is quite limited.
