Sažetak
Application of mathematical and statistical methods during the design of experiments (DOE) has allowed modeling and simulation of forming process, in this case backward extrusion, using experimental data. In the paper is presented obtained mathematical model of backward extrusion force using own developed software (MODSIM &#8211 ; MODeling and SIMulation). The obtained tool loading model describe very well the real process. The comparison of results obtained by experimental research, defined force model and FEM simulation by using commercial software ABAQUS Explicit have given acceptable and adequately reliable forming force values, what is extremely important in the case of process design.
