The sixth volume of the DICSEP publications contains eleven papers. Seven of them are concerned with the Mahabharata. The authors are Yaroslav Vassilkov, Johannes Bronkhorst, Greg Bailey, Sudha Berry, Klara Gönc Moačanin, Ivan Andrijanić, and Vishwa Adluri. The paper of Simon Brodbeck is concerned with both the Mahabharata and Harivamsa. Three papers are concerned with the Puranas. The authors are Horst Brinkhaus, Mislav Ježić and Renate Söhnen Thieme. The methodology of the authors is predominantly philological, but some papers pursue comparative mythology, literary criticism or structuralist interpretation.
