Sažetak
Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus (TLP) deals with the central issues of philosophy related to the world, thought and language and represents a “solution” to these philosophical problems based on the application of logic. The world is represented by thought, and the world, thought, and proposition share the same logical form. Therefore, thought and proposition can be images of facts. Thus, logic itself gives structure and determines the limits of what can be said at all. On the other hand, limits of language (“a language that only I can understand” (TLP 5.62)) are limits of one’s world. In this lecture, after introducing Wittgenstein’s early philosophy, a possible concept of private language argument in TLP will be analysed, including its interpretations and Wittgenstein’s own interpretation in his later work Philosophical Investigations (PI).
