Sažetak
The traditional manufacturing in many cases doesn’t provide the optimal work and material flow for many different reasons. The trend of digitalization has certain specific demands for the optimization of the manufacturing layout, which would cause certain changes in the work environment. The implementation of the Industry 5.0 affects the manufacturing layout optimization in few directions. First one is the optimization of material and process flow, second is the human- centered design of a workplace by human factor and wellbeing standards while third is the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies, resources and increase of energy efficiency. In this paper the evidence from the literature about manufacturing layout design will be studied with the most important criteria as the guidelines towards the digitization and transformation pointed out that can later be used in the real manufacturing environment.
