Sažetak
Diagnostic procedures in kinesiology have a key role in planning and programming of training process. Given the high demands of sport today, the testing of athletes is experiencing a trend of positive change and, for this purpose, new tests, protocols and measuring instruments are being created. One of the types of devices that are often used in diagnostics and training today are inertial devices that are used in defining the characteristics of athletes and in rehabilitation process. Gyko inertial device consists of an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a magnetometer. The wide application of this measuring instrument enables the definition and monitoring of a large number of athletes’ abilities, such as the duration of concentric and eccentric contraction, range of motion, creation of a strength profile, static and dynamic balance.
