Sažetak
A difference equation is said to have the shadowing property if in a vicinity of every approximate solution there exists an exact solution of the difference equation. In this talk, we will discuss the shadowing property for a class of semilinear difference equations of the form xn+1 = Anxn + fn (xn) n ∈ Z where An, n ∈ Z are bounded, linear and invertible operators on a Banach space X and fn : X → X, n ∈ Z is a sequence of Lipschitz maps. In particular, we will formulate conditions under which exhibits the shadowing property, which unlike some previous works don’t require any information related to the asymptotic behaviour of the linear part.
