Sažetak
Data on criminal offenses against privacy in the Republic of Croatia obtained by a survey conducted at the Municipal Criminal Court in Zagreb (ZMCC), as well as data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) were presented at the conference. Both surveys have shown that Unlawful Use of Personal Data (Art. 146 CPC) is the most prevalent crime against privacy, with a percentage of more than 50% of convictions for criminal offenses against privacy (by CBS data) and about 83% by a research study at ZMCC. It is followed by Violation of the Inviolability of the Home and Business Premises (Art. 141 CPC) with around 30% (by CBS data) but by conducted research at the ZMCC makes only 0, 8% or less than 1%, but still figures the second place.
