The main motive for this panel is the new book, Wie südosteuropäisch ist Graz, edited by Ulrike Tischler Hofer, published last year in Graz at Leykam Internation. This book primarily deals with the role of the city, Graz, in broader context as a political, educational, cultural and artistic center of southeast central Europe ; and these topics were discussed afterwards.
