Sažetak
The main purpose of this paper is to define a strong shape category SSh for arbitrary topological spaces. This is achieved using a coherent prohomotopy category CPHTop and the notion of resolution of a space [the second author, Fundam. Math. 114, 53-78 (1981 ; Zbl 0411.54019)]. The paper gives all necessary definitions and states the results.
