Sažetak
Crew work on platform supply vessels is considered one of the most demanding in maritime business. Relatively small vessels, big volume and small number of crew members on board are the reasons why the work on platform supply vessels is extremely difficult. The development of oil drilling technology and the development platforms supply vessels causes daily growing in business activities as well as in the paperwork, i.e. grow in checklists and guidelines number and volume. The checklists and the guidelines are extremely important as the tools that elevates job safely. On platform supply vessels, there are between 250 and 300 checklists and guidelines, depending on the Flag State and shipowner. The problems arise in stressful situations on board when lists are filled quickly and without due attention or are not filled at all due the lack of time. In these situations, paperwork is considered as extra job that the crew cannot adequately handle. The paper deals with the checklists and the guidelines for ship to platform oil transferring as well as for use of dispersants i the case of oil spill.
