Sažetak
This paper presents the preliminary results and analysis of real-time ATC radar and integrated ATCflight cockpit simulations as a baseline study to develop the new assessment criteria for ATCo radar simulation training. A new airspace model and set of generic exercises were developed to test ATCo trainees’ performance as well as to acquire flight efficiency and task load date through these simulations. Statistical correlation analysis was done to determine relationships between the selected performance metrics. Preliminary results show strong relations between ATCo instructions and flight efficiency parameters.
