Sažetak
We have developed a routine called G1DMULT for calculating the Green's functions of general multilayer structures (planar, cylindrical or spherical) in the spectral domain. The routine has the same structure for all three cases. The difference is only in the basic two subroutines. The advantage of the algorithm upon which G1DMULT are based is its simplicity. E.g., it was easy to implement an anisotropic spectral surface impedance, which we have used for implementing the asymptotic boundary conditions for analyzing corrugations and metal strips inside the multilayer structure. We have also used G1DMULT for analyzing the input impedance of microstrip patches and dipoles, and properties of frequency selective surfaces. This paper is done while Zvonimir Sipus was a Ph.D. Student at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
