Sažetak
We present an algorithm for calculating spectral domain Green's functions for planar, circular cylindrical and spherical multilayer structures. The spectral domain problem is interpreted as an one-dimensional problem with known harmonic variation in the other two dimensions, and with sources in the form of current sheets, tubes and shells. The algorithm is based on subdividing the original problem into equivalent problems, one for each layer. The unknowns determined by the algorithm are the tangential E- and H-fields at the layer boundaries. The algorithm is implemented into three versions of a Fortran routine called GLDMULT. The only difference between the three versions is in two subroutines which calculate the E- and Hfields in homogeneous media due to the current sheet, tube, and shell. We have implemented the asymptotic boundary conditions in the routine by which it is possible to analyze strip layers and corrugation surfaces inside the multilayer structures. The routine has been used in different moment method programs for calculating characteristics of microstrip antennas and periodic structures.
