Sažetak
GenICam offers a universally valid software interface for controlling industrial cameras. Using GenICam makes cameras interchangeable and decouples hardware from software. In this bachelor thesis an overview of GenICam is provided and its availability for various platforms is researched: vendor specific implementations of GenICam are available on Microsoft Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Android, however some of them are vendor locked. Another goal of this thesis was to add the support for Basler's Pylon SDK to an existing 3D scanning software, however this work is partially completed with some modules still being developed.
