Sažetak
The purpose of this paper is to generalize the Edwards-Walsh theorem to the case of compact Hausdorff spaces. The main result obtained by the authors is that compact Hausdorff spaces X of cohomological dimension dimZX≤n are characterized as cell-like images of compact Hausdorff spaces Z with covering dimension dim Z≤n.
