Sažetak
In this study, the main objectives are measuring correlates of cultural literacy on national cultural heritage and identifying the understanding of cultural heritage among young people, both in Turkey and other participating countries. In addition, we intend to develop a locally specific typology of young people’s patterns of cultural participation. Moreover, we explore the relative effects of various sources of cultural literacy at three different levels: individual, school, and country specific. We explore the role of cultural literacy and cultural participation together with other relevant variables while explaining different aspects of intercultural dialogue among young people.
