Sažetak
Major incidents are unpredictable, but can and should be expected. In general, major incidents and crisis events arise as a surprise , and in that manor, preparedness is of a crucial importance, since response time is most likely to be very short. In order to have a proper response to Major incident, medical workers and first responders need leadership, and a level of knowledge and training, which they gain through MRMI (Medical response to Major Incident) courses.
