A smart sustainable city is an innovative city that uses ICT and other ways to improve the quality of life, urban business performance and services, and competitiveness, while ensuring that current and future generations meet the economic, social and environmental aspects. Cruise tourism is fast growing ; cruise ship can be recognized as specifi c tourist destination. [...]tourist destination, same as smart city, and smart cruise ship must develop adequate infrastructure and services to fi t customer needs and expectations. The top down design approach applied on the smart cruise ship enables usage contemporary technical solutions and even robots. [...]smart cruise ship example can be important for smart city and smart destination development projects, and it can indicate solutions which will be worth to apply in their own specifi c situations.
