Sažetak
In the presentation, we present the ecclesiastical circumstances in Trogir during the reign of Luis I of Anjou. Particular attention is paid to the research of the role of Trogir's bishop Nicholas Kažotić in organizing relationships between King Louis I and Trogir. The presentation is focused on the variety of expressions of piety in the commune of Trogir in the second half of the fourteenth century. The research is based on the examination of the late medieval notary and narrative sources. Relevant diplomatic and narrative sources are also examined, especially in the relation to Tragurin patrician families which played important role in the political and diplomatic life of the commune in the fourteenth century.
