Sažetak
Paper held as part of invited talks within the book symposium on the "Thought Experiments" by Nenad Miščević, published by Springer-Nature. The topic of the talk was analysis of two of the famous Einstein's thought experiments (the elevator, with which he sought to derive general theory of relativity, and the change of light momentum, with which he derived his famous energy- mass equivalence equation) and comparison of the general approach to understanding thought experiments by Miščević in his latest book, and by a platonist, such as J.R. Brown, with some original insights into how Einstein was using his thought experiments and with what ultimate effect.
