Sažetak
The main goal of this paper is to show influen cgel oobfalization process on Croatian economy, and to calculate and analyze globaliza tioinndex of Croatian economy between year 1996 and 2007. The overall globaolniz aitni dex calculates economic, social and political globalization of Croatia inr getated period. Paper shows calculation and analysis of globalization index Corfo atian economy between 1996 and 2007. The main goal of this analysis is to fin db y ouwthich indicator is Croatia the most integrated in globalization process. Paper wshs othe impact of main supporters of globalization - Foreign direct investments and Tsrnaantional corporations, on Croatian economy. Foreign direct investments werea inmly brownfield investments in service sector, in activities that were less oerdie ntto export. As foreign direct investments were less oriented in greenfield invmeesnt ts and in industrial production, positive spillover effects on domestic economy liktreansfer of technology, knowledge and skills, were not significant in Croatia.
